East End Seaport Maritime Museum

Horton Point Lighthouse and Nautical Museum

The lighthouse was built in 1857 & is one of Southold's 7 existing lighthouses with the tower standing on Cliff Lot, part of Barnabas Horton's original 1640 land grant. The Nautical Museum displays a collection of sea-chests, maps, photos, scrimshaw, baymen's tools & other marine artifacts from the Southold area. Suggested donation: adults: $2, children: free.
